Photo Christmas Cards at Shutterfly

We're already well into November and its time to buy Christmas cards!  For the 4 years since my daughter was born, our family has been doing photo cards.  I've tried a few different sources and found the quality at Shutterfly to be far superior to the others I've used.  I'm excited by the great selection they have for 2010.  I'm trying to decide between these two options for this year's card.

Right now, all holiday cards are 20% off through Nov 17th.  Perfect timing to get them mailed out in early December.

In addition to the great quality offered by Shutterfly, I'm always impressed by the selection.  I will be ordering the 5 x 7 folding cards, but they also have the flat cards in 4 x8, 5 x 5 and 5 x 7, which I've ordered in the past.  All sizes and types of cards have a huge variety of designs available so everyone can find the card that suits their family perfectly.

Check out the Christmas card selection HERE.

And the Thanksgiving card selection HERE.

Of course, Shutterfly also offers photos gifts, which I've bought before and are also fantastic quality.  They offer mugs, calendars, photo books and more that can all be customized.

Check out the calendars HERE.

If you're completely new to Shutterfly, I also want to share with you that they have a fantastic photo sharing site HERE that I've been using for a long time.  You can create a Share Site, make it private and share photos with anyone you chose to invite. You can even give posting access to anyone in the group so they can add photos. I created one after my family reunion this summer and we've all been sharing our photos that way.

Earn Gift Certificates for Amazon at Swagbucks

Amazon has great deals for Christmas shopping and you can earn free money to spend with Swagbucks.  Swagbucks is a search engine, much like google.  But with Swagbucks you randomly earn points (called bucks) for searching.  You can also also find bonus codes on their blog, facebook page, etc.  There are many different prize options, but the best value is the Amazon.com $5 gift card.  Once you redeem your Swagbucks, you'll receive a code in your e-mail and you just put that code into you Amazon account and you can use it anytime, no expiration and they build up (so if you earn 10 of them over a few months,  you'll end up with $50 to spend in part or all at once).  If you use Swagbucks as your primary search engine, you should easily earn $5-$10 in a month.  If you focus on earning point and watch for bonus codes, you can earn even more.  They also offer surveys and special offers for many more points.  There is also a referal bonus, so tell your friends and family about it too!

Christmas Countdown!

With Christmas less than two months away, I'm starting this blog to keep my friends, family and followers informed of the great deals I find for a fun Christmas without breaking the bank.  I keep my eyes open for great deals on toys, movies and other things for my daughter mostly, but will post anything I come across that I think my readers will be interested.  So if you're looking for something specific, or a general category (clothing, shoes, toys, types of books, etc.) post a comment and let me know!
